Collective experience includes nearly 700 naming and brand strategy implementations. Based in Aurora, IL, just west of Chicago, DriveThruNames has serviced clients in North America and globally.
Founding partner Neil Brown is the chief naming strategist. With over 20 years of experience in small, medium and large agencies, including 10 years as Managing Partner of Ross/Brown Communications, an award-winning regional marketing agency. A serial-entrepreneur, Neil launched over a dozen companies since 1996 including brand consultancy IDeas BIG (brand identity group) in 2005, and web development firm rb/Digital. Prior to building his own shops, Neil was a senior account executive for several Chicago-area agencies. He has broad experience in the retail, fashion, packaged goods, technology, healthcare and industrial sectors. On the other side of the desk, Neil started his career as an assistant brand manager at a major telecommunications company, and later toiled in new product development and corporate marketing. Neil holds an MBA from Northern Illinois University, and a BS-Marketing from Southern Illinois University, and has been published in Advertising Age, Adweek, Marketing News, BtoB (marketing), Sales & Marketing Management and numerous other publications

A copywriter by training, Rich is our resident linguist and grammarian. He has nearly 30 years of award-winning copywriting experience involving major brands and start-ups alike. Rich's copywriting expertise has covered all media, including print, outdoor, radio, television and interactive. When he's not writing eye-catching copy, Rich stays busy writing comedy monologues and sketches for network television's most popular late night host. He has a BS degree in Journalism from Northern Illinois University.
